Papa's Scooperia keeps you juggling orders, scoops and toppings across several stations at once. Flappy Bird asks for the opposite: one job, done over and over. The rules

Pipes come at you in pairs, top and bottom, with a gap between them. Pass through a gap and the counter goes up by one. Clip the edge of a pipe or let the bird sink to the ground and the run is over, and the next one starts from a score of zero. There are no lives, power-ups or checkpoints, which is what makes a long run feel earned.

Getting past your first few pipes

1. Let it fall a bit. New players flap constantly and hit the top pipe. Give the bird a moment to drop before the next flap.
2. Find a beat. The rise from one flap is always the same, so the same rhythm will hold the bird at one height.
3. Ride low in the gap. Entering near the bottom gives you room to flap up; entering near the top leaves none.
4. Look ahead. Start adjusting toward the next opening as soon as you clear the current one.
